  • Cat Craze is a digital comic-style zine that I wrote, illustrated, and designed for a semester-long project. The zine humorously explores the quirky and unpredictable adventures of life as a cat owner, with a lighthearted narrative and vivid illustrations that bring the cats' antics to life. This project allowed me to merge storytelling with illustration, focusing on relatable themes for cat lovers.

Cat Craze is a whimsical, slice-of-life digital comic zine that delves into the humorous, chaotic, and sometimes tender world of cat ownership. The story is told from the perspective of an exasperated but loving cat owner, capturing the everyday ups and downs of life with a mischievous feline companion. Each comic strip features short, relatable vignettes that highlight the peculiarities of cats—from their curious nature and selective affection to their inexplicable bursts of energy at odd hours.

Starting with rough sketches, I developed the narrative around the everyday adventures of cat ownership. I then refined the illustrations, ensuring that the characters had expressive, dynamic poses and that each panel conveyed the story clearly. The color scheme played a crucial role in bringing the comic to life, enhancing the mood of each scene and guiding the reader’s attention through the flow of the story.
